Pangkalan Jati Golf Course is owned and maintained by the Indonesian Navy. ‘Come, enjoy, and complete your game with joy’ is the course’s philosophy. It has 18 holes scattered on its 40-hectare land and bumpy surface.
It is one of the courses designed by local designer with yet offers a challenge. The construction began in 1976 and was opened for public three years later. It uses local sources, including the grass that covers most of the course area but the greens. The ground easily absorbs water when rain comes. It takes only 15 minutes to dry up the course before it is ready to use again.
