Located in Peninsula Hill, New Kuta is a new course in Bali. Built in 2007, the link course was designed by Ronald Fream, giving an unforgettable challenge for players to try the 18 hole-course with the vast Indian Ocean as its background.
The first nine holes lie in a tropical low land with a stream, high grasses, and vines. The second hole is called Barong, named after Balinese mystical creature. The shape of the hole reflects a dancing Barong. A conservative approach is required because obstacles are all around. Stay in the fairway and play a full shot or high lob to the green, so you can land your ball close to the hole. Carefully not to hit a short shot to the left because the slopey green may be a deadly trap.
The last nine holes are located by the spectacular seaside with its par-3 15th hole known as “Cliffhanger” lies on a cliff and becomes the signature of the course.
A huge clubhouse with its open-air restaurant and bar is ideal for those who need to relax after spending the whole day on the course. The club included in Pecatu Indah Resort area lies nearby Dreamland and Balangan beaches. It can be accessed by driving for 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
